KOHLER K-304-K-NA Rite-Temp Pressure Balancing Valve Overview
This Rite-Temp pressure-balancing valve works behind the scenes to prevent scalding and freezing for a safe, comfortable water supply. The valve features a high-temperature limit stop and an optimal comfort zone, so you can set a maximum high and then find and maintain your desired water temperature. Additionally, the unit has a diaphragm design that virtually eliminates freeze-ups from contamination and water debris. Universal NPT and direct sweat connections need no additional parts for installation.

Boasting versatile design and effortless installation, the Kohler Forte widespread lavatory faucet combines fluid design lines with functionality to complement classic or contemporary spaces. The Forte also offers two sculpted lever handles that come pre-assembled on their valves for easy installation and cleaning. And it includes a pop-up plastic drain with tailpiece (the Forte is also available in a version with a metal drain).

The Forte’s quarter-turn, washerless ceramic disc valves exceed industry longevity standards two times for a lifetime of durable performance. Its finish resists corrosion and tarnishing, and this version comes in vibrant brushed nickel (with polished chrome and brushed chrome finishes also available). It’s designed for 8-inch or 16-inch centers, has a stationary spout with a 5-1/8-inch reach, and provides flexible connections. This faucet meets WaterSense criteria to conserve water without sacrificing performance, and it is also ADA compliant.
WaterSense Labeled Faucet
WaterSense is a program sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote water efficiency (it is similar in nature to the EPA’s Energy Star program). Plumbing fixtures and faucets that qualify for the WaterSense label assure you of actual water savings and strict performance standards.
The Forte offers a flow rate of 1.5 gallons-per-minute (GPM, which is 30 percent less than the federal mandate of 2.2 GPM–making it eligible for the WaterSense label.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
Backed by a limited lifetime warranty, this Kohler faucet is to be leak and drip free during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her home. If the faucet should leak or drip during normal use, Kohler will mail to the purchaser, free of charge, the cartridge necessary to put the faucet in good working condition.
